For over 31 years, our little family-run business “The Preparedness Store & Bosch Kitchen Center” has been serving the community near and far, teaching and providing insight into emergency preparedness, whole-grain cooking, dehydrating, and freeze-drying. What first started as a one-room business in our home has turned into a full-scale brick and mortar store for over 25 years in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Rusty has taught over 1,000 community classes and continues to teach in our demonstration kitchen. Our customers are our number one priority whom we appreciate and we strive to give each customer a positive and personalized experience, whether on the phone or in-person at our store.
The Preparedness Store & Bosch Kitchen Center is an authorized dealer for Bosch, NutriMill, WonderMill, Harvest Right Freeze Dryers, Berkey & Katadyn Water Filters, Kelly Kettles, Mountain House, Goal Zero, and all other products in our store.

Hear It From Our Clients
This store has items for outdoor survival and camping that cannot be found anywhere else. I mill my own flour so this is my go to place because of their large selection of grain. They also have a lot of kitchen gadgets and other food related products that are really hard to come by. I absolutely love The Preparedness Store!
